Join Paul Fox at the holistic retreat centre, Spectrum Turkey, near Dalyan and  half an hour north west of Dalaman on the Mediterranean coast. The centre is set in a beautiful conservation area flanked by mountains, lush greenery and pomegranate and orange groves. Highlights include a nearby turtle beach and sanctuary, abundant wildlife including storks and kingfishers as well as hot sulphur springs, mud baths and cruising along the coast for the day. This week will be a chance to recharge and relax before the chilly Autumn. Temperatures are typically a comfortable 25-30 degrees at this time of year. There will be two yoga classes a day in the purpose built yoga space; a morning practice before breakfast from 8 - 9.30am and an evening restorative class from 5 - 6.15pm, followed by optional meditation.  Both classes will be suitable for all levels of ability. This is very much a holiday and not a retreat. You are free to have a glass or wine or a beer in the evening if you wish. Expect an informal and friendly atmosphere and plenty of laughter. If you have a non-yoga partner there is plenty to do in and around the venue, such as relaxing by the pool or walking in the surrounding mountains.

After morning practice and full and delicious brunch, the rest of the day and evenings are free to enjoy the relaxed and beautiful setting of Spectrum Turkey  Have a dip in the pool, hike or walk by the river or to the beach. Many day trips and excursions are offered.  A full and varied breakfast is served at 9.30am, lunch is at 1.30pm and the evening meal is at 7.30pm. Massage can be booked.

The holiday is limited to a maximum number of 12 - 16 students.  Paul is a highly experienced yoga teacher, with 19 years of practice, four teaching qualifications and a reputation as an inspirational workshop teacher. He has also trained more than 50 yoga teachers for the British Wheel of Yoga.

Spectrum Turkey Holistic Retreat Centre
The centre is a sanctuary from city life and in harmony with the beautiful nature all around. The neighbours are Turkish farmers. Accommodation is provided in 9 individualised single en suite rooms with air conditioning, and 3 double rooms which can have twin or king sized beds. The centre has an 80 square metre pool and plenty of space to relax, enjoy the sun and surroundings as well as views from the tree house. Delicious vegetarian food is served - a very interesting fusion of Turkish veggie dishes. The centre provides all yoga mats, towels and beach towels to save on luggage allowance. Free wifi available. Most people visiting the area will not want to miss the river delta and turtle beach and the turtle sanctuary to see these amazing and graceful creatures close up. The turtle and sandy beach is 11km away and reachable by a half hourly mini-bus service, or by taxi at a cost of around six pounds per person return (4 in a cab). Dalyan is a 20 minute walk and is on the river with boat trips to the beach/coast leaving every half hour and costing around two pounds each way. So you could go to the beach by boat and return by cab or vice versa.

Yoga Practice
We will explore the rich hatha yoga tradition, using flowing sequences and held postures to integrate body, mind and spirit. Restorative sessions are designed to integrate the yoga practice, re-balance the body and develop relaxation skills. Beginners and experienced students are welcome as the practice can be adapted to suit all levels of ability.

I truly enjoyed our week's yoga practice with Paul. I liked the rythme in which we entered the practice, starting slowly, looking deeper into some postures in order to feel them better while doing the whole sequence. Sure, that Asthanga is an dynamic practice but Paul actually made me understand that it's ok if we adapt it to our abilities and do it slower, we don't have to do every assana to feel we are practicing it - the journey counts more than the final result:). I have recently returned from a wonderful experience - a yoga week in Turkey. The teacher was Paul Fox who created an atmosphere in which all the participants could enjoy learning and updating their yoga and meditation skills. For my part I was especially put at ease by Paul who could modify some of the yoga positions for me as a couple of previous injuries prevented me from undertaking the full range of movement. The group blended well together and this was a testament to Paul's versatility as the ages ranged from 20-70! I have come away with a sense of calm which I am managing to retain in my busy lifestyle and I am very much looking forward to a further week over the next year. It will be an experience that I will always remember due to the amazing location that Paul chose which complemented the spirituality of the yoga experience. Perfect, thank you Paul.

Thank you very much for organising such a wonderful Yoga Holiday for us in Turkey. I have not practised Yoga for about 4 years. This Yoga holiday has reminded me how much I have missed it, and the benefits which have dramatically changed my body and mind. Since returning from Turkey I have eased back into a routine of Yoga and a healthy lifestyle.
What a truly special experience the yoga week in Morocco was. I felt extremely privileged to have been part of it and know it will stay with me for a very long time. The pace of the week was perfect and I felt thoroughly supported and guided in building up an Ashtanga practice that suited my personal needs through your excellent and intuitive teaching.

What a wonderful week that was. wonderful Yoga, wonderful villa, wonderful food and the most wonderful people, all in all a perfect holiday. The balance was perfect, enough Yoga to challenge and enough down time to relax, couldn't have been better! As the baby Yogi of the pack, I found it challenging but not to much that I couldn't achieve it and felt comfortable in my ability.

The retreat was perfect and exceeded all expectations but I want to say that along with the great Yoga and food the friends I met that week each brought a special gift and contributed so freely to the experience.  Last week has changed my life and I hope that we could all have a reunion one day as the energy created last weeks was truly special and one experience I will never forget.

One of the best holidays that we’ve have in years! On a personal level, I did more yoga during that week than I’d done in the past 6 or 7 years – and I enjoyed every single session immensely. Being a person that can be put off by people sticking to a doctrine a little too dogmatically, I really liked your “real-world” approach to the conveyance of yoga principles.  The amount of yoga (time) that you led during the holiday was perfect for me – not too much, not too little – and I never felt intimidated by my relative lack of knowledge of the yoga postures.

The yoga was great.  I do like your approach: offering what you bring.  People commented about your lack of ego, and we all enjoyed your gentle, appropriate adjustments and sense of humour.  I think I learned a lot.
I really loved the retreat. It was just what the doctor ordered. It's always a bit scary going by yourself to something like this, but the group was so amazing that I feel I have made lots of new friends.  I found your teaching superb. I really like the way you seem to teach so effortlessly, and you made everyone feel special and cared for. The pace of the practice and content was just right, and behind the scenes, there was not one ounce of grumbling. Everyone seemed to be going through some sort of transitional phase in their life, and everyone felt stronger and more able to cope with these changes. It helped everyone enormously and people went through the week feeling that they were improving and growing. It was a nourishing experience.
